Music
Mr. Litwak has extensive experience in representing R&B/Pop groups in all aspects of their careers, including the platinum selling group B2K and Immature (which later became IMX). Glenn also represents Omarion and Marques Houston with regard to their music and film careers (“You Got Served,” “Fat Albert”). Glenn has represented diverse clients such as Chris Stokes, La La, CeCe Peniston (“Finally”), Spencer Davis (“Gimme Some Lovin”), TG4, 2 Much, NLT, N2U, Vybe, O’Ryan, Mila J, Jhene and Young Rome.

Glenn has represented prominent music producers who have produced for recording artists such as Destiny’s Child, Lil' Wayne, Angie Stone, Patti LaBelle and Ginuwine. Glenn has also negotiated producer agreements on behalf of his artist clients with some of the top producers in the music business such as Puff Daddy, Timbaland, Jermaine Dupri, The Neptunes, The Underdogs, and Tricky Stewart.

Glenn has recent experience in negotiating cutting edge deals such as a “360” Deal for a new group (“FDM”) signed to Interscope Records and foreign licensing deals with Sony Music Japan for new albums from Omarion and Marques Houston.

Mr. Litwak has negotiated recording and management agreements for artists who have been signed (through production deals) to major record labels such as Sony/BMG, Interscope/Geffen/A&M, Elektra, Atlantic, Universal Music Group, Music World, and Warner Music. Glenn also has experience in negotiating music publishing deals with publishers such as EMI Music, Zomba, and Notting Hill Music. Glenn has negotiated license deals for his clients’ music to be placed in motion pictures (Young Rome’s song in “The 40 Year Old Virgin”).

Glenn has negotiated merchandising and endorsement deals for his clients’ with companies such as Nike and Southpole. He has also negotiated contracts for his clients to appear in T.V. commercials (B2K Dr. Pepper commercial with Smokey Robinson).

Glenn represents dancers, choreographers and creative directors such as Jamie King (creative director of concert tours for Madonna, Ricky Martin and Shakira) and McDonald Selznick and Associates (talent agency for clients in the dance industry).

Film & TV
In the motion picture field, Glenn represents producers, independent filmmakers, distributors, actors, writers and directors. For instance, Mr. Litwak represented ten individuals involved in the 2004 hit movie “You Got Served,” including the writer-director, five of the stars and two of the producers.

Glenn represents documentary filmmakers including Robert Drew who is most famous for his award winning documentaries on President Kennedy.

Glenn has prepared/negotiated option and literary purchase agreements, life story rights agreements, book publishing agreements, non-disclosure agreements and has been production legal counsel on a number of independent films. He has also prepared/negotiated collaboration agreements, film distribution agreements, merchandising agreements, and contracts involving soundtrack albums.

In the television industry, Mr. Litwak has negotiated deals for actors on network television shows (Marques Houston – “Cuts”). In addition, he has experience representing actors, producers and directors of reality T.V. programs. For instance, he has represented Alani "La La" Vazquez (MTV/VH1 host) and Kevin Tancharoen, creator and Executive Producer of the reality T.V. shows, “Dancelife” and “Twentyfourseven” which aired on MTV, and director of “Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll.” Glenn also represents Beth Stolarczyk (“Real World” and “Real World/Road Rules Challenges” on MTV, and “Sexiest Women of Reality TV” calendar and program).

New Media
Mr. Litwak has represented content providers in preparing and negotiating Digital / Mobile Distribution Agreements. These contracts include representing recording artists in ringtone/ringback/wallpaper type deals as well as Digital Fan Clubs. In addition, Mr. Litwak has represented clients who produce short films for digital/mobile distribution.

Entertainment Litigation
Mr. Litwak has handled over 100 trials and arbitrations over the last 30 years. Trials successfully handled by Mr. Litwak have appeared in the “Verdicts and Settlements” section of the Los Angeles Daily Journal, the largest legal newspaper in the country. He has represented producers and documentary filmmakers in connection with Entertainment Litigation including copyright infringement and “story theft” claims. Some of these cases have been reported in the press by the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Daily Journal, and the Hollywood Reporter.

Glenn has handled litigation for and against celebrities and has successfully represented clients in a number of high profile entertainment industry cases.

Real Estate, Business & General Civil Litigation
Mr. Litwak has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of Civil Litigation including breach of contract cases, fraud, unfair competition, injunctive relief and personal injury claims. Glenn also has extensive experience in business and real estate related litigation. He has represented real estate brokers, buyers, sellers, entrepreneurs, retailers and manufacturers.

Glenn has been a licensed real estate broker in California since 1988, and is the founder and President of GTL Realty, Inc., a real estate brokerage company.

Glenn has had vast experience representing clients in over fifty (50) mediations and arbitrations over his career. He has arbitrated cases with Alternative Dispute Resolution Services, Inc ("ADR), The International Film and Television Alliance ("IFTA"), The American Arbitration Association ("AAA"), The Writer's Guild of America ("WGA") and The California Lawyers for the Arts ("CLA").

Administrative Hearings
Mr. Litwak has experience representing clients in administrative hearings.  For instance, he has represented both employers and employees before the California Labor Commissioner in disputes involving the California Talent Agencies Act (California Labor Code Section 1700.23-1700.47).

Teaching & Writing
Glenn is a frequent speaker at music, digital, and entertainment conferences around the country. He has spoken at the Atlantis Music Conference in Atlanta, the Urban Network Conference in Palm Springs and Industry Hills California and Memphis Tennessee, the Get Seen Get Signed Conference in Chicago, Variety Magazine’s Panel Discussion on Music Piracy in Beverly Hills, the Digital Music Conference and the Urban Music Conference in Miami, the Brand Access Forum in Los Angeles and the North By Northeast Music Conference in Toronto.

Mr. Litwak has been a speaker at entertainment law seminars at UCLA Law School, Loyola Law School, the Association of Independent Music Publishers (“AIMP”) and for the California Lawyers for the Arts and the California Alliance of Paralegal Associations. He is an instructor at the UCLA Extension, Entertainment Studies Program where he teaches a course entitled “Self Defense in the Music Industry.”

Glenn was the keynote speaker at California Lawyers for the Arts annual Music Business seminar on October 28, 2007.

Glenn participated in the “One on One” sessions at the 2009 ASCAP I Create Music Expo in Hollywood and also spoke at the 2009 Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Music Supervisors Meet and Greet in Beverly Hills.

Mr. Litwak has written and lectured on entertainment industry litigation and published an article in the International Documentary Magazine. An article written by Mr. Litwak on Entertainment Law was also published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal.

In 2009, Glenn published articles on music industry topics in Urban Network Magazine and Music Connection Magazine. Glenn’s “Exec Profile” interview with Music Connection Magazine was also published in July of 2009.

Mr. Litwak co-wrote a chapter in a new media law book on minors working in the entertainment industry which is scheduled for publication in 2010 by the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Litwak has been profiled in California Law Business Magazine (February 1998). He has also been interviewed on a number of television shows including: Celebrity Justice, Inside Edition, Extra, and Fox Cable News.
